Description

Crafted in Riga between 1908 and 1918 by Hermann Bank (also known as Hermanis Banks), this 13¾‑inch soup ladle is struck from .875‑pure silver and crowned with a lustrous gold‑wash bowl. Its handle is hand‑etched with a sweet bow arching over a heraldic shield—within which the overlapping cyrillic monogram is crisply detailed. The ladle’s graceful taper and satisfying heft reflect the impeccable precision of early 20th‑century Russian silversmithing, and the warm patina with gentle wear at the high points speaks to a century of refined service. Ideal for soups, stews, or punch, this piece adds a distinguished touch of Imperial Russian elegance and heirloom craftsmanship to any table.
